CANSHIFT communicates directly with the engine computer using the OBD2 port. This seamless and simple communication gives drivers the ability to change forward gears without modifying their vehicle wiring or having to install any additional hardware.

Each vehicle year and model has specific programming that is required for CANSHIFT to work properly.  CANSHIFT is only released for vehicles  have been tested to ensure 100% compatibility.  When checking out, make sure to select the Paddle Shifter kit for your specific year and model.  If you don’t see your year and model listed, it means that we are still undergoing testing for that vehicle.  We cannot guarantee CANSHIFT will work  any model other than those we have paddle shifter kits available for.

We cannot guarantee CANSHIFT is compatible with any model other than those specifically listed.

If your Paddle Shifters are not working, follow the tips in the troubleshooting guide in the Instruction Manual.  If, after troubleshooting, the paddle shifters are still not working, please complete our Contact Us form.

Do not attempt to disassemble any of the components.

We only release CANSHIFT Paddle Shifter kits after extensive testing. If your car is not listed, feel free to Contact Us with your vehicle’s specifics for more details on when CANSHIFT will be available.

CANSHIFT draws very little current, so you should have no issues with battery drain. Unless enabled, CANSHIFT simply acts as a monitor, displaying the current gear the vehicle is currently in. Activation can easily be enabled or disabled by pressing both paddles simultaneously.

If you need to return or exchange your order, we’re here to help!  You can return your product for a refund to your original payment method within 7 days of receipt.  Returned items must be unused in brand new condition with the void sticker still intact.

All CANSHIFT products carry a 1-year warranty.  If you have any warranty issues, contact us using our Contact Us form, and we will either resolve the issue, or instruct you on how to process a return.
